Description

Billing for freight services for the small freight company. Web-based interface, so billing clerks can be geographically dispersed. Supports scanned images of bills of lading, and automated invoice generation and delivery.

Invoice and statement generation

A/R tracking

Integrated document imaging with auto-read of barcode as BOL number; scan a BOL in the local office and upload to central server; the image processor reads teh barcode label on the BOL and starts the invoicing process. Images are stored for future reference.

Supports all three entities in a shipping transaction: Shipper, Consignee, and (optionally) 3rd. Party Payer

Supports a variety of line item charges (per piece, per cwt, percentage add-on, flat charge, etc.)

Creates invoice in PDF format

Auto email of invoice as attached PDF to payer's email

Can be interfaced to QuickBooks, Dynamics GP, or Dynamics SL

Microsoft IIS Web Server

SQL database (SQL Server or MySQL; system ships with SQL Express )
