| Business PDA applications do not stand alone, they all either display data from or collect information for some back-end software application, typically (but not always) an accounting application. MTS has built systems that interface to accounting systems from Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, JD Edwards, as well as QuickBooks. We have used SQL Server, MySQL, Microsoft Access, and dBase as desktop and server databases. We have used proprietary sync technologies as well as serial and dial-up commucations, but most of the current work uses Web Services and some form of a SQL database. |
